Dear Edinburgh,
Good morning! My name is Sarah. I just moved to Scotland and was hoping you would allow me to stay in your beautiful city for a while. I’m very low-maintenance; all I need is some hot tea, (with a wee bit of honey and sometimes milk, if it is black tea) plenty of cozy rainstorms and chances to wear my scarves, and a little help with the language barrier. That’s all. Not much. I would be much appreciative of your hospitality!
Regards,
Management
You make me tear up with your poetic prose.
Greetings From Florida,
Happened to see the website with your blog and wondered how you are doing.
Guess you heard your old spot is now occupied by Amelia’s twin sister. And the company is supposed to move some time next month.
All moves along and I hope you are still enjoying yourself. Best regards,
Wade
Hi Sarah
Your Dad told me you are in my home town. I know it can be a bit dreicht (good Scottish word for anything that is grey and dismal – pronounced dreekt!) but people are quite friendly when you get to know them. Lovely views from the castle over the town – my first memories are from there with my Grandad.
Want something to read – try the Ian Rankin books they are all about Edinburgh.
Lots of lovely cafes, bars etc and once you start at the university you will never look back.
Good luck
Helen
Hi Sarah,

Hi Sarah,
Ah – to be young and adventurous!
It’s so beautiful there!

Alex, Sam, and Grace say Hi!
Sarah – your mom sent me the link to your blog (she taught me two kids art for a few years).
Enjoy your time in Scotland and try to blog a bit now and then, with lovely pictures.
I was in Aberdeen, with a side trip to the Isle of Mull, last year. Then we went to Norway. Scottish are much friendlier in my view. And the ones I met were most helpful and kind.
I envy you getting to listen to TAY FM.
Dear Sarah, I have been reading your blog ever since your Mom gave me the connection…I am enthralled with the tales of your adventures and your thoughts…we have much in common, interestingly enough, within our heads. I just want to wish you the best of times…those gifts God gives us…that force us to see – eventually! Sending you love and hugs – same to Claire – keep writing, yes, I believe you will write a book and it will be published, and I can’t wait! XO Janet
